Units of measurement :
The SI units used in this catalogue stem from standard DIN 1301, in accordance with the implementing decree for the law on units of measurement dating from 26th June 1970.
Recommended oils :
Viscosité suivant la norme DIN 51 519
-ISO VG 22 for use at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C
-ISO VG 32 for use at temperatures between 10°C and 50°C
-ISO VG 46 for use at temperatures between 20°C and 60°C
Recommended temperatures :
The usage temperature must be between -10°C and 60°C. The temperature takes account of viscosity.
Minimum oil viscosity = appr. 4mm2/s
Maximum oil viscosity = appr. 1500 mm2/s
Optimum oil viscosity = appr. 10 bis 500 mm2/s
Temperature changes :
Temperature has a direct effect on pressure where it is maintained within a closed circuit. As a general rule, a temperature change of 1°C results in an increase in pressure of 10 bar.
In order to avoid damaging cylinders and other hydraulic apparatus we recommend using a pressure limiter.
Oil filtration :
Minor and major impurities including dust, swarf and particles from rubber hoses or seals, may cause a hydraulic system to seriously malfunction, in particular check valves, which need the oil to be extremely clean.
It is therefore important to include filtration, thorough rinsing being strongly recommended before initial use.
Permissible displacement speed :
The minimum displacement speed is 0,01 m/s
The maximum displacement speed is 0,50 m/s.
Use and maintenance information :
Only the recommended, filtered or clean oils should be used.
Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Purge circuits at the highest point at low pressure.
Workpiece clamping :
In order to ensure that the workpiece is clamped, the clamp must be positioned in such a way that residual travel, also known as play, is possible.
We recommend minimum play of 1.5 to 2 mm.
Radial force :
The radial force of the piston must be limited to 5% of nominal force.
